2022 eNASCAR Contender iRacing Series ↓

The 2023 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series was the 14th season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. The season started with The Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on January 31 (the only exhibition race of the year) and concluded at the Homestead Miami Speedway on September 26. Drivers competed for a prize package of $330,000 (USD), with $100,000 going to the series champion. For a second straight season, the Championship 4 drivers competed in the season finale from a live event at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Teams and Drivers

The 2023 free agency period took place from January 9 through January 12. Outgoing teams from 2022 Clint Bowyer Racing, iRacing Motorsports, Mode Motorsports, Spacestation Gaming, and Wood Brothers Racing were replaced by fgrACCEL eRacing, Front Row Motorsports, Kanaan eSports, Kansas City Pioneers, and the Pittsburgh Knights. All 4 drivers from the 2022 Championship 4 stayed with their previous teams, with Casey Kirwan returning to XSET, Bobby Zalenski returning to Joe Gibbs Racing, Steven Wilson returning to Stewart-Haas eSports, and Graham A. Bowlin returning to the Charlotte Phoenix. Veterans Kevin King and Ryan Doucette re-qualified for the series after time away. Joey Brown re-qualified for the series after winning the 2022 eNASCAR Contender iRacing Series championship.

Schedule

The 2023 schedule was released on January 12, 2023. The Milwaukee Mile and the Autodromo Nazionale Monza would appear on the schedule for the first time in series history, while Homestead Miami Speedway replaced Phoenix Raceway as the site of the Championship Race. The Clash returned to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the second year in a row and was the only exhibition race of the season. For the first time since 2019, there was no All-Star race on the schedule. Round 11 was originally scheduled to take place at Watkins Glend International but would later be replaced by the Chicago Street Course.

Prize Package

The total prize package of $330,000 (USD) was comprised of $220,000 in driver winnings ($200,000 in season standings and $20,000 in race winnings), $60,000 in team incentive contributions, $40,000 in team winnings, and $10,000 in team marketing bonuses. Driver weekly winnings were increased to $1,500 for 1st, $1,000 for 2nd and $500 for 3rd in the Round 1 race at Daytona International Speedway. $300 was awarded to the Rookie of the Year.

Broadcasting

For a fourth straight season, the iRacing eSports Network was the exclusive broadcast home of the series. All races were broadcast across the iRacing and NASCAR channels on YouTube and Twitch. The Countdown to Green pre-race show sponsored by Wendys started at 8:30 pm ET with race coverage beginning at 9:00 pm ET. Coverage of the season finale was hosted in person at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
