The 2022 eNASCAR Contender iRacing Series was the middle rung of the year's eNASCAR Road to Pro Ladder. 25 of the top 26 drivers from the 2022 eNASCAR Qualifying iRacing Series competed against the 15 of the bottom 20 drivers from the 2022 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. At the conclusion of the series, the top 22 drivers in points were promoted to the 2023 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series.

Schedule
The series schedule remained untouched from the 2021 season. Race lengths were reduced for all rounds, a change that was made at all rungs of the eNASCAR Road to Pro ladder that year. Texas Motor Speedway was the final race of the season for a second-straight year.

Broadcasting
The iRacing eSports Network was the exclusive broadcast home of Rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 while Podium eSports broadcasted Round 2. Round 4 was covered as part of a split coverage broadcast featuring Round 4 of the Fall 2022 eNASCAR College iRacing Series running in the same time slot. All races were broadcast across the iRacing and NASCAR channels on YouTube and Twitch with iRacing eSports Network branding.
