History
Stewart-Haas eSports, formerly known as Stewart-Haas Gaming (2019), was founded by the management team of Stewart-Haas Racing, an American professional stock car racing team, to compete in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series and the eNASCAR Heat Pro League. In the first-ever console-based NASCAR eSports league, Stewart-Haas Gaming fielded two drivers and won the inaugural eNASCAR Heat Pro League championship during a live event on October 23, 2019, at the NASCAR Plaza in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2020, the team rebranded to Stewart-Haas eSports and entered the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series where it competed from 2020-2023. The esports organization ceased operations after the 2023 racing season. Stewart-Haas Racing shut down at the end of 2024, ending a 22-year run as a NASCAR Cup Series team.
