2019 NASCAR iRacing Pro Series

The 2020 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series was the 11th season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. It was announced on February 5, 2020, that NASCAR Premier Partner Coca-Cola had signed a multi-year entitlement partnership for the naming rights to the series, replacing PEAK Antifreeze who sponsored the series from 2014-2019. The season started with an exhibition race at the Daytona International Speedway on February 4 and concluded at the Phoenix Raceway on November 1. Drivers competed for a then-record prize package of $312,000 (USD), with $100,000 going to the series champion. This was the first season to feature an official team championship.

Teams and Drivers

For the first time in series history, all 40 drivers had a professional team affiliation to start the season. The lone outgoing team from 2019 FlipSid3 Tactics was replaced by new additions Denny Hamlin Racing, KLR eSports, Stewart-Haas eSports, Virtual Racing School, and William Byron eSports to fill out the 20 team field. Burton Kligerman Esports, Jim Beaver eSports, and JR Motorsports were the only 3 teams to maintain their same driver lineups from 2019. Defending series champion Zack Novak left Roush Fenway Racing to join Jimmy Mullis at Richmond Raceway eSports. Series veteran Jeremy R Allen and John Gorlinsky returned after time away. 4-time series champion Ray Alfalla re-qualified for the series after winning the 2019 NASCAR iRacing Pro Series championship. Kyle Larson's team left the series after Round 4 following his indefinite suspension from NASCAR on April 13, 2020, leaving Steve Sheehan and Bob Bryant unaffiliated for several races before Sheehan joined JTG Daugherty Racing and Bryant joined Burton Kligerman Esports.

Schedule

The 2020 schedule was released on February 10, 2020. For the first time in series history, the schedule was expanded to 20 races in length. Daytona International Speedway hosted 3 points races (2 on the oval, 1 on the road course), the most for any single track in series history. The mid-season All-Star Race was held at the newly released North Wilkesboro Speedway in the NASCAR Truck Series trucks. The final race of the season was originally scheduled to move to Phoenix Raceway, but was later changed back to Homestead Miami Speedway with a mid-season schedule update on September 2, 2020.
