Biography
Cameron Dance is a New Zealand Sim Racer who formerly competed in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car World Championship Series and currently drives for Slick Simsport in dirt oval racing and Orbit Motorsport for road racing. Cameron is also a colour commentator for iRacing broadcaster SimSpeed TV.
Dance began sim racing at the young age of just 3 years old on the original PlayStation playing Monaco Grand Prix: Racing Simulation 2, eventually Dance progressed to the TOCA Race Driver series, Studio Liverpool F1 titles, Geoff Crammond's Grand prix 4 and various other titles on the PlayStation 2 & Xbox consoles. Cameron started competitive simracing in 2011 in the Apex Racing League (now known as Apex Online Racing) on the Codemaster's F1 titles before transitioning through rFactor to his current mainstay at iRacing. Dance tends to come across as an underrated driver however his amazing natural ability to adapt quickly to any car & track while still being quick on the iRacing service makes him one of the best all rounded drivers in New Zealand.
