The 2022 eNASCAR Qualifying iRacing Series was the entry rung of the year's eNASCAR Road to Pro Ladder. iRacing members with an Oval-A license with a 2.0 or above Safety Rating competed in multiple splits ranked by iRating through the 8-race Round 1. The top 70 drivers from Round 1 advanced to Round 2. In the 7-race Round 2, the field was split into 2 races each week with snake splits, where the top-ranked driver by iRating was in Split 1 and the second-ranked was in Split 2 all the way down the field to split the races up into two fields of 35 drivers. At the conclusion of Round 2, 25 of the top 26 drivers in points were promoted to the 2022 eNASCAR Contender iRacing Series.
Schedule
The 2022 schedule was released on January 17, 2022. In Round 1, Darlington Raceway traded its Round 1 date in 2021 with a Round 2 this season, while Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway were removed entirely and replaced with Daytona International Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and Bristol Motor Speedway. In Round 2, only Texas Motor Speedway remained on the calendar from 2021, replacing Phoenix Raceway as the final race. Notable additions included the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt.
