The 2017 NASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series was the 8th season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. On February 23, it was announced that PEAK had extended their title sponsorship of the series for an additional 3 seasons, giving them naming rights through the end of 2019. The season started with an exhibition race at Daytona International Speedway on February 21 and concluded at Homestead Miami Speedway on October 11. This was the first season to introduce the Playoff format, where the top 8 drivers after the 12-race regular season would be reset in points and compete over the next 3 races to be in the top 4 in points to advance to a winner-take-all championship race. This was the last season to allow up to 43 drivers to compete in a race. Drivers competed for a prize package of $25,000 (USD cash + iRacing credits), with $10,000 cash going to the champion.
Teams and Drivers
Alex Bergeron, Blake Reynolds, Bobby Zalenski, Chris Shearburn, Christian Challiner, Darik Bourdeau, Jimmy Mullis, Joe Letteriello, Marcus Richardson, Phillip Diaz, Ryan Michael Luza, Will Cooley, Zack Novak made up the large rookie class of 13 drivers making their series debuts. With 40 drivers guaranteed a spot on the grid and a maximum of 43 cars allowed in a race, the 10 pro license drivers who finished 21-30 in the 2016-17 NASCAR iRacing Pro Series could qualify for the open spots on a per race basis. This was the last season to allow 50 drivers the opportunity to race every week.

Schedule
The 2017 schedule was released on January 11, 2017. The season opener at Daytona International Speedway, originally scheduled for March 1, would be rescheduled for March 15 after Justin Bolton was prevented from joining the March 1 race session despite being one of the drivers with a guaranteed a spot on the grid. The March 1 race still took place but did not count towards points. The elimination-style Playoff format, which debuted in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2014, made its iRacing debut this season. When the Regular Season concluded at Michigan International Speedway, the top 8 drivers in points advanced to the Playoffs. During the Round of 8, any win from the 8 playoff drivers at Darlington Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway, or Dover International Speedway would advance them automatically to the Championship 4, with any spots remaining going to the highest playoff point scorers without race wins. In the championship race at Homestead Miami Speedway, the highest finisher of the Championship 4 would be awarded the series championship.
