2024 FIA SIMAGIC F4 eSports Regional Tour Season 3


The 2024 FIA SIMAGIC F4 eSports Global Championship was the inaugural season of iRacing's newest pro-level esports series. The season started at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on September 14, 2024, and concluded at Watkins Glen International on November 2, 2024. Drivers competed for a prize package of $29,800 (USD), with $10,000 going to the series champion.


Teams and Drivers

Each region's top 10 finishers in the 2024 FIA SIMAGIC F4 eSports Regional Tour Season 3 championship qualified for the series. Elvis Rankin won the Americas Region, Alejandro Sendra won the Asia-Pacific Region, and Alejandro Sánchez won the Europe Region. Apex Racing Team, Coanda Simsport, and Delinte Esports by TK represented nearly half of the 30-driver field. Alex Dunne was suspended for the final 4 races of the season and stripped of all points earned after leading the championship at the halfway point of the season.

Schedule

When the series was announced on May 23, 2024, it was revealed that doubleheader events would be scheduled for September 14, September 28, October 12, and November 2. Track selections for each event were announced 24 hours before the race, forcing drivers to adapt quickly to each course. Drivers also competed with fixed setups, ensuring an equal playing field.

Prize Package

The total prize package of $29,800 (USD) was comprised of $19,000 in driver season winnings, $6,000 in bonus winnings that were divided evenly amongst all 30 drivers ($200 per driver) for qualifying for the series, and $4,800 in driver race winnings for the top 3 finishers in each race.
