2020

The 2021 eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series was the 3rd season of the eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series. Races were moved from weekends in 2020 to weekday nights in 2021, with the season starting at Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt on March 24, 2021, and concluding at the Chicago Street Course on June 2, 2021. Without qualifying races, a fan vote was added beginning with Round 2 at Talladega Superspeedway as a mechanism for fans to vote on an extra driver they wanted to see join the field on a race-by-race basis. Round 3 at Darlington Raceway debuted the Generation 7 NASCAR Cup Series cars, nicknamed the "Next Gen," which were only unveiled to the public earlier that day in a NASCAR press conference with manufacturers Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota.

Schedule

The 2021 schedule was announced on January 26, 2021. Only Talladega Superspeedway returned from the 2020 schedule, with a handful of first-time road courses and the Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt race being added. Initially, the series was scheduled for 10 races, with Fox Sports covering the first 5 races and NBC Sports covering the series for the first time for the last 5 races. After the first 5 races of the season were complete, NASCAR and iRacing said that details about NBC Sports' half of the season would be released at a later date. Broadcasting

Fox Sports was the exclusive broadcast home of all races. While it was originally announced that NBC Sports would cover the last 5 races of the season, those races would never happen when the series was announced to be complete at the end of Round 5. All races were broadcast on FS1 and later uploaded to the NASCAR YouTube channel. Production work for the broadcasts was split between the iRacing broadcast studio in Chelmsford, MA, and NASCAR on Fox's Steve Byrnes Studio in Charlotte, NC.
