eNASCAR Saturday Night Thunder

The 2020 eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series was the 2nd season of the eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series. Following a three-year hiatus, the series returned for the first time since 2017 when NASCAR suspended operations on March 13, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season started with the Dixie Vodka 150 at Homestead Miami Speedway on March 22, 2020. It concluded with the North Wilkesboro 160 at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 9, 2020. With driver participation growing, eNASCAR Saturday Night Thunder was later added to serve as a qualifier race for drivers not on the initial invite list of mostly NASCAR Cup Series drivers. The season ended at the North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 9, 2020, ahead of NASCAR's return to real-life competition the following week on May 17, 2020.

Broadcasting

Fox Sports was the exclusive broadcast home of all races. Production work for the broadcasts was split between the iRacing broadcast studio in Chelmsford, MA, and NASCAR on Fox's Steve Byrnes Studio in Charlotte, NC. 903,000 viewers watched the first race at Homestead which aired on FS1, while 1,339,000 watched the second race at Texas across FS1, the Fox Sports App, and the FOX broadcast network. These races became the most-watched televised eSports broadcasts ever. All races were later uploaded to the NASCAR YouTube channel.
