History
G2 Esports (or simply G2) is a European esports organization headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The club was co-founded by legendary League of Legends player-turned-team owner, Carlos ‘Ocelote’ Rodriguez, and veteran esports entrepreneur and investor, Jens Hilgers. They competed in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series from 2019-2020 as one of the 12 founding professional teams. The team ceased their sim-racing operation after the 2020 racing season. G2 also has teams competing in League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and Fortnite.
