Biography

Chris was born on February 26, 1988 in Austria, Leoben was in contact with racing from an early age and took his first steps in karting. In addition to his passion for racing, he also shares it for Esports with cozy laps on the Sim iRacing in SimRacing. His other hobbies include mountain biking, table tennis and sports such as swimming, running and football.

His racing career began in 2002 through karting. There he was able to achieve further successes from the beginning until 2004, in addition to his 1st place in the ICA Junior Championship, the Austrian 4-stroke championship and among other things, with six wins out of 10 races in the Rotax-Max Middle East Championship, he took first place in the overall classification to back up.

2005 was the next milestone in his racing career. Christopher started with 16 races in Germany in the Formula Renault 2.0 Cup. A year later, he set a lap record twice on test days in Houston, Texas and Dunville, Canada. He changed continents and finished fifth in the Asian Formula Renault 2.0 Championship.

In addition to the Formula Renault 2.0 Championship, he also drove in the ChampCar Atlantic Championship until 2008.

After his experiences in the ChampCar Championship and Porsche GT3 Endurance Cup, in which he finished third in the 24-hour race in Dubai, Christopher started for 12 races in the SpeedCar Series Middle East.

A year later from 2010 to 2013, another milestone in his career in the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nürburgring began. In addition to other events such as the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, he also started in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, for which he fought for the podium until 2017. It also started for the Porsche SuperCup.

After 2016 - 2019 he started for various series. For example, he competed in the Blancpain GT Series, the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and several 24-hour races. Another milestone was reached in 2018 when he competed in the ADAC GT Masters for the MRS team in a BMW M6 GT3. In 2020 he started in the 24h GT series for Dinamic Motorsport in the Porsche 911 GT3R.

In his career, he has scored five victories and 30 podium finishes in 178 races. He started from pole position seven times. His highlights include second place at the 24h race in Dubai 2019.

His favorite tracks are the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Daytona International Speedway, Shanghai International Circuit and the Norisring, also in Germany.
