Biography
Dino Lombardi (born May 10, 1990) is an Italian sim racing driver from San Giorgio del Sannio. His passion for motorsports has been a lifelong journey, starting from real-world racing to becoming a top-tier sim racer.
Early Career in Real-World Racing
Lombardi’s journey into motorsports began at a young age when he started competing in minimoto races in 2000. He quickly progressed through various categories, achieving success in 125 Sport Production, 125 GP, 600 SuperStock, and 600 SuperSport. In 2006, he fulfilled his dream of debuting in the 125cc MotoGP World Championship, racing against the best riders globally. After competing in Supersport from 2012 to 2013, he decided to retire from real-world racing.
Transition to Sim Racing
Although he stepped away from real-life competitions, his passion for racing never faded. In 2019, Lombardi discovered sim racing and immediately recognized its potential as his new competitive arena. By 2021, he had signed his first professional contract with Williams Esports, one of the most prestigious teams in sim racing. Competing at the highest level, he has achieved significant results and contributed to the team’s success.
Besides racing, Lombardi also works as a coach and technical consultant, helping emerging sim racers improve their skills and achieve their goals.
