↑ 2020 eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series

eNASCAR Saturday Night Thunder was the official qualifying series for the 2020 eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series. Select drivers from the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series, and other international NASCAR-sanctioned series' were invited to participate. Every week, a designated number of top finishers would qualify for the eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series race that same weekend. The season started as the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Qualifier with the O'Reilly Auto Parts 125 Qualifying Race at Texas Motor Speedway on March 29, 2020. Before Round 2, the series was given the Saturday Night Thunder Series name that it would use for 4 of the remaining 5 rounds. It concluded at Martinsville Speedway on May 8, 2020, the only race to run as Friday Night Thunder. Although Anthony Alfredo scored the most points across the six races, no formal champion was crowned.

Schedule

The series schedule parroted the 2020 eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series schedule for all rounds except for the final race which took place at Martinsville Speedway instead of North Wilkesboro Speedway. While Round 1 took place the morning before the Pro Invitational iRacing Series race on a Sunday morning, Rounds 2-6 took place the day before the corresponding Pro Invitational iRacing Series race on Saturday or Friday night. A majority of races featured several heat races followed by a C-Main, B-Main, and a Feature Race which would decide who advanced to the main series. NASCAR Xfinity Series cars were used for Rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 while the NASCAR ARCA Menards Chevrolet Impala was used for Round 2.

Broadcasting

RaceSpot TV was the exclusive broadcast home of the series. All races were live-streamed on the NASCAR YouTube channel with iRacing eSports Network branding. More than 200,000 people watched the broadcast for the second race of the series at Bristol. Fox Sports showed highlights of the races during their Pro Invitational iRacing Series broadcasts.
