The 2017B NASA RallyCross Challenge season was the thirteenth season of the championship. After a sensational move to Area 52 Racing, Cody Erdmann was unable to win his third consecutive championship. Despite not starting the first event in Lydden Hill, Philip Kraus won his first championship in his second full season in NASA competition after a fierce battle with both Josh Mertz and Chris Wetz. The Canadian won four out of ten races, with Wetz winning three, Mertz winning two, and Erdmann winning at Area 52 Racing's home race in Milwaukee.
