Rennsport (stylised as RENNSPORT) is an upcoming free-to-play sim racing game developed by Competition Company and Teyon and published by Competition Company. The title first became available in Closed Beta via Epic Games Store. On 23 September 2024 Rennsport went into Open Beta, which made the game available via Steam as well.

Rennsport was announced as an esports-centric sim racing title with ambitions to make sim racing esports more accessible. Together with ESL, the ESL R1 was first hosted in 2023. This esports tourney promised a prize pool of $500,000 USD. This prize pool was split up between a spring and fall season. One further ESL R1 esports season was run in spring of 2024. The event has not yet happened again since then.

Gameplay

Rennsport features different game modes, both single-player and online multiplayer. The multiplayer is comprised of leaderboard challenges, official online championships and regularly repeating online sessions.

Rennsport is the first sim racing game to feature digital VINs (vehicle identification numbers). This allows for each car to have its progress and races tracked. In the future, cars will be able to be sold on an in-game marketplace. This feature was first envisioned in 2001 by West Racing Ltd's then-upcoming title Racing Legends.
