Founded in 2018, the eNASCAR IGNITE Series powered by iRacing was a NASCAR-sanctioned youth esports series featuring drivers ages 13-16. The series was designed to teach younger competitors the skills, strategy, and focus required to be a real race car driver as a part of NASCAR's ongoing efforts to lower the barrier of entry into motorsports and encourage young people to get involved in racing.
Each season featured an 8-race regular season which was open to all eligible iRacing members. The top 50 drivers after the regular season would advance to a 5-round playoff, including a winner-take-all finale for the championship, where the winner would receive $10,000. Drivers competed in the Legends cars for the 2018 season and the Whelen Modified cars in 2019.
