Series Information
The Portuguese Virtual Rally Championship (CVPR) will run throughout 2025, roughly following the calendar of the Portuguese Rally Championship (CPR) with a difference of one week.
The competition will be based on the real sections of the CPR, and the roadbook published before each rally will show the correspondence between the real sections and the virtual sections of the Richard Burns Rally (RBR), using the Hungarian plugin (RSF), with the latest version of NGP physics.
The virtual sections will be selected with the aim of maximizing their similarity to the real routes, taking into account factors such as length, type of route, road conditions, weather conditions and service areas.
Registration
Entry to the championship is restricted to drivers of Portuguese nationality with a rallysimfans.hu account.
Drivers can register for the CVPR 2025 championship on the Championships page of rallysimfans.hu.
Team registration for the CVPR 2025 championship will be on the CVPR Teams channel of the RBR Portugal discord, indicating the Team Name, Drivers Name (First Name and Surname + Name of the rallysinfans.hu plugin account) and respective Category(ies).
Teams can be made up of drivers from both categories, Rally 2 and Rally 4, or just one of them.
- The Rally 2 category must have a minimum of 2 drivers and a maximum of 4 drivers.
- The Rally 4 category must have a minimum of 1 driver and a maximum of 4 drivers.
Registration for drivers and teams will remain open throughout the championship, except during periods when races are taking place.
