Biography
Alessio Bonino (born August 29, 2003) is an Italian sim racing driver from Biella. His passion for racing began at the age of six when his father took him to watch a karting race. From that moment, he never stopped dreaming of competing.
Early Interest in Racing
Bonino's journey into the world of racing started with WRC on the PlayStation 2, followed by Formula One on Xbox. Initially using a controller, he soon discovered the thrill of driving with a racing wheel, which deepened his enthusiasm for simulation racing.
Sim Racing Career
His passion for sim racing grew with rally games such as Dirt Rally 2.0, where he began competing online and refining his skills. Seeking a more realistic experience, he transitioned to Assetto Corsa, participating in online championships and securing his first victories. He later moved on to Assetto Corsa Competizione, achieving remarkable success by winning four consecutive championships on Xbox One within the Italian sim racing community.
Determined to further immerse himself in simulation racing, Bonino invested in a high-performance PC setup. This led him to iRacing, a simulator he initially found challenging due to his prior experience with other racing titles. However, through perseverance and dedication, he honed his skills and achieved satisfying results.
Competitive Development
Bonino continues to strive for improvement, driven by his passion for racing. To further develop his abilities and compete against other enthusiasts, he joined Zero7 Racing, where he continues to challenge himself in high-level sim racing competitions.
